Netherlands: Tolu Arokodare earns two nominations for Ajax Goal of the Month

Tolu Arokodare has received two nominations for Ajax’s October Goal of the Month award for strikes against Atalanta in the UEFA Europa Conference League and AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie. Against Atalanta, the Nigerian striker beat a defender and calmly scored after controlling a long pass from Youri Baas. He headed the winning goal against AZ in the ninth minute, rising above Mees de Wit. Arokodare scored four goals in six league appearances in October; Abdellah Ouazane, Davy Klaassen, Leo Salazar, Abdoulaye Camara and Naoufal Mouslim are also nominated.
