Networks, 5G, Satellites: AIGF Opens Debate on the Future of Radio Communications

The Ivorian Agency for Radio Frequency Management (AIGF) launched the second edition of its Radio Communications Forum, bringing together experts, operators, and public officials for three days. Abel Djohoré, the chairman of the AIGF, emphasized the importance of managing the radio spectrum for sovereignty and economic development, including issuing 5G frequencies and developing satellite networks to connect remote areas. The first day focused on deployment and compliance of terrestrial and satellite networks, while the second day addressed electromagnetic waves and non-ionizing radiation with international presentations and measurements.
