New Atlas mapping wildlife movement corridors across Northern Tanzania and Southern Kenya, launched

A new transboundary Atlas of critical wildlife corridors has been launched by the Center for Large Landscape Conservation (CLLC) and WWF, covering the Southern Kenya–Northern Tanzania (SOKNOT) landscape. Of 24 corridors assessed along the Kenya-Tanzania border, only 13 are functionally connected. The Atlas aims to support conservation of migratory species such as wildebeest, elephants, lions, and zebras, as well as the tourism economies of both countries.
