New Details Emerge on Collapsed Eastleigh Building

A building under construction collapsed in Nairobi’s Eastleigh area, with several people feared trapped beneath the rubble. Rescue operations began at around 1 p.m. on Friday, and only one person had been rescued and taken to hospital by the time of the report. Police launched a search for the building’s owner, while Nairobi police boss Issa Mohamud said security agencies were deployed at the scene.
