NFF crisis: FIFA to visit Nigeria; yet to ratify NFF Normalisation Committee

Following the mass resignation of the Ibrahim Gusau-led board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ordered a comprehensive reform of Nigerian football. A Nigerian delegation, led by Mallam Shehu Dikko, met with FIFA President Gianni Infantino in Zurich to discuss the establishment of a normalisation committee. Although fruitful talks took place, FIFA withheld approval for the committee pending a visit to Nigeria.
