NFL’s Azeez Al-Shaair pays tribute to slain Palestinian girl Wafaa Akila

American football player Azeez Al-Shaair wore the name of Wafaa Akila, an eight-year-old Palestinian girl killed by Israeli forces, on his eye black during an NFL game on September 20. Despite receiving an $11,941 fine for wearing the name of another victim, Hind Rajab, Al-Shaair stated that a life is priceless. Wafaa Akila was killed on September 6 in an Israeli attack while returning home with her father.
