Ngaoundéré-Garoua: 30 billion FCFA in advances paid, no lot beyond 5% completion

Nearly ten months after work began, the reconstruction of the Ngaoundéré-Garoua road has only made preliminary progress. The five lots awarded to four Chinese companies have received approximately 30 billion FCFA in advances, but none have exceeded 5% physical completion. Lot 1, awarded to CGCOC Group, received 7.7 billion FCFA but shows only 1% progress, with 26% of the contractual time elapsed. Other lots also show minimal progress despite the advances paid.
