Nicaragua urges ICJ to reject Germany’s bid to throw out Gaza genocide case

Nicaragua urged the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to allow its case against Germany to proceed, claiming that its arms exports to Israel violate the 1948 Genocide Convention. Germany argued that the case was improperly filed and should be dismissed. Nicaragua filed this case two years ago, accusing Germany of facilitating genocide in Gaza, while Germany is the second-largest arms supplier to Israel after the United States.
