Niger: AES announces the thwarting of the 'mutiny' in Niamey and calls for vigilance

The Sahel States Confederation (AES) announced the thwarting of a mutiny in Niamey, where soldiers attacked Air Base 101 and other sensitive sites. Loyalist forces managed to restore order after exchanges of gunfire. The AES praised the conduct of military personnel loyal to the institutions and called for vigilance against misinformation. The National Council for the Safeguarding of the Homeland (CNSP) also urged citizens not to share unverified information.
