Niger miners' death: Families will get justice - FG vows as probe committee inaugurated

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, stated that the Federal Government would ensure justice for the families of 37 illegal miners who died in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Niger State. A 10-member committee has been inaugurated to investigate the circumstances surrounding these deaths, which occurred during an enforcement operation. Tunji-Ojo emphasized the importance of the committee's independence and the need to deliver justice to the victims.
