Niger miners death: Tamper with evidence, be dealt with - FG warns NSCDC, others

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, warned the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and other stakeholders against tampering with evidence related to the death of 37 miners in Niger State. He announced the establishment of a 10-member investigative committee to probe the incident. Tunji-Ojo emphasized that any attempt to destroy or conceal evidence would be met with serious consequences, assuring the families of the victims that the government would not abandon them.
