Niger miners' deaths: Gov Bago gives fresh updates

Niger State governor, Mohammed Bago, provided updates on the deaths of suspected miners in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. He stated that the Nigeria Police and the Department of State Services had taken statements from those discharged from the hospital. Some have reunited with their families, while a few remain hospitalized but are expected to recover soon after suffering from dehydration and malnutrition.
