The National Museum in Lagos has reopened a renovated gallery, white from floor to ceiling with dim lighting, designed for an immersive experience. Visitors can now gently touch certain exhibits, such as two engraved 16th-century elephant tusks suspended from the ceiling, and take unrestricted photos. Tinuke Odunfa oversaw the renovation. The gallery houses one of the country's most comprehensive collections, including 5th-century Nok terracottas arranged chronologically.
