A special court in Abuja sentenced several individuals to prison terms ranging from 60 to 40 years for their involvement with Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP). The convicts, including Musa Mustapha and Ali Mohammed, admitted their guilt during the proceedings. Judge Obiora Egwuatu stated that the sentences would run concurrently from the date of their arrest. The court also ordered rehabilitation and de-radicalization for the convicts after serving their sentences.
