Nigeria needs leaders equipped for changing realities, says Sam Adeyemi

Sam Adeyemi, senior pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, said in Lagos that Nigeria cannot afford leaders who learn on the job, noting that many people in positions of authority have never received leadership training. He spoke ahead of the church’s annual Excellence in Leadership Conference, scheduled for November 5 and 6, 2026, in Oregun, under the theme “Leading in Uncertainty.” Co-hosted by Sam and Nike Adeyemi, the conference will address volatile markets, rising living costs, policy changes and shifts in the world of work. Participants will learn to stand firm, think clearly and turn uncertainty into a leadership advantage.
