Nigeria Sitting on an Economic Time Bomb, Primate Ayodele Warns

Primate Elijah Ayodele, spiritual head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, warned that Nigerians’ economic hardship could worsen. In a video posted on social media Saturday, he predicted that the government would introduce more taxes and that conditions could become exceptionally difficult, particularly in 2027. He urged President Bola Tinubu’s administration to listen to the public and stop policies that intensify hardship.
