Nigerian Army arrests 10 terrorists' informants in Niger

Troops of Operation Savannah Shield arrested 10 suspected terrorists' informants and collaborators during a fighting patrol in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State. The operation was conducted at about 10:05 a.m. on June 11 by troops of the Combined Intervention Strike Brigade XVI operating from Forward Operating Base, FOB, Audu Fari. The suspects are currently in custody for further interrogation. No direct contact was made with armed terrorist groups during the operation.
