Nigerian Army Neutralises Six ISWAP Terrorists and Recovers Ammunition in Borno State

Nigerian Army troops killed six ISWAP members in an ambush at the Targejeri crossing point in Kaga Local Government Area, Borno State. The operation was carried out by the 29 Task Force Brigade alongside members of the Hybrid Force, following intelligence about terrorist movements. Troops recovered an AK-47 rifle, three magazines, 169 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, five phones and charms. Captain Mohammed Goni urged residents to provide security agencies with timely, credible information about suspicious activity.
