Nigerian Govt begins prosecution of 500 suspects implicated in terror attacks

The Federal Government began the trial of 500 suspects involved in terror attacks in Nigeria, where over 2000 people have been killed. Attorney General Lateef Fagbemi led the prosecution team, with international representatives invited to observe the proceedings. Several convictions were handed down, including that of Hamatu Modu, a food supplier for Boko Haram, sentenced to 40 years in prison.
