Nigerian govt plans 360km/h high-speed rail from Lagos to Maiduguri

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced plans to develop a high-speed rail corridor connecting Lagos to Maiduguri, allowing speeds of up to 360 km/h. Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transportation, Olufunso Adebiyi, emphasized the importance of this project for economic development and the integration of the national transport network. He also mentioned the ongoing expansion of the railway network, with several corridors already completed and others under construction.
