Nigerian teenager Fawaz Oyedeji jailed for four years for attempting to steal Porsche in London

Fawaz Oyedeji, 19, was jailed for four years in the UK for attempting to steal a £72,500 Porsche Cayenne in Southwark, London, using an imitation firearm. He had responded to an online advert as a prospective buyer, then threatened the seller and demanded the keys; the seller resisted, and Oyedeji fled. Police identified him using phone records, CCTV footage and forensic evidence, and arrested him at home less than 38 hours after the incident. An Inner London Crown Court jury found him guilty on November 4 after 26 minutes of deliberation.
