Nigerians are suffering' - Ogun group backs return of fuel subsidy - Daily Post Nigeria

A political support group in Ogun State, Yayi Ni Wura Alliance Movement, has urged President Bola Tinubu to restore fuel subsidies, citing the rising fuel prices worsening hardships for ordinary Nigerians. The group announced it has severed ties with PDP’s Ogun Central senatorial candidate Iyabo Obasanjo and joined the APC. Comrade Wasiu Adejumo stated that while the removal of subsidies has benefited infrastructure projects and increased revenue for states, these benefits are not reaching grassroots communities, and called for partial or full subsidy restoration to ease the cost of living.
