Nigerians in UK won’t pay extra charges for passports - FG

The Federal Government stated that Nigerians applying for international passports under the ongoing special passport intervention exercise in the UK are not required to pay any extra charges beyond the approved official fees. Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, confirmed that the fees remain at $150 for a five-year passport and $230 for a ten-year passport, excluding bank charges. The Ministry of Interior is collaborating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to address the challenges faced during the application and processing of passports.
