Nigeria's mineral deal with America won't save Tinubu from FBI probe - US firm

A US advocacy firm, Von Batten-Montague-York, states that Nigeria’s mineral deal with the US will not shield President Bola Tinubu from an FBI drug investigation. The firm noted that despite a framework agreement signed in New York on September 24, the US did not offer anything in return for the mines. It also criticized the idea that Nigeria sought a meeting with Donald Trump or aimed to hide heroin trafficking records, suggesting someone in Tinubu’s team was misled.
