NiMet forecasts dust haze and thunderstorms nationwide

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) forecasts dust haze and thunderstorms across Nigeria from Monday to Wednesday. Thunderstorms with rainfall, locally moderate, are expected in parts of the North-Central and southern regions, while the north will mainly experience dusty and sunny conditions. NiMet urged people with asthma or other respiratory conditions to protect themselves from suspended dust particles and advised residents to secure loose objects against strong winds. It also warned the public not to shelter under tall trees during thunderstorms.
