NLC rallies South African labour leaders against xenophobic attacks

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has urged South African labour leaders to oppose the growing wave of xenophobic attacks targeting Nigerians and other African migrants. In a letter to COSATU, the NLC condemned the killings and destruction of businesses belonging to migrant workers, calling on the South African government to prosecute perpetrators and strengthen protections for affected communities. The NLC emphasized that this crisis is not only a South African issue but threatens the unity of the African working class.
