NLC secures breakthrough as warring NURTW factions agree to end crisis

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), led by President Joe Ajaero, brokered a peace meeting in Abuja between warring factions of the NURTW. Both sides agreed to cease hostilities and engage in unconditional dialogue. The mediation is seen as a major breakthrough to end the leadership crisis in the transport workers' union.
