NNL: Akubudike FC acquire Solution FC's place

Solution FC, owned and funded by the Anambra State government, is reportedly set to withdraw from the Nigeria National League ahead of the 2026/27 season. Reports say the state government declined to fund the club for the new campaign. Privately owned Akubudike FC, also based in Anambra State, has reportedly acquired Solution FC’s slot and is expected to take its place in the competition. The season is scheduled to begin on Saturday, 31 October.
