NNL: Gombe United and FC Basira complete medical screenings ahead of new season

Nigeria National League clubs are preparing for the 2026/27 season by completing mandatory medical screenings. Gombe United underwent testing at Specialists Hospital in Gombe, supervised by the club’s medical team and observed by club secretary Malam Abubakar M. Maina. In Lafia, FC Basira players had ECG tests at the Federal University Teaching Hospital to meet NNL registration requirements. Gombe United will host Jigawa Golden Stars on November 7, while FC Basira will open against El Kanemi Warriors.
