NNPCL finally completes OB3 gas pipeline River Niger crossing after 10 years

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has completed the OB3 gas pipeline crossing of the River Niger, a $700 million project that began in 2016. NNPCL's CEO, Bayo Ojulari, described this achievement as a defining milestone for Nigeria's gas infrastructure, enhancing gas supply reliability and supporting industrial growth. The OB3 Pipeline, with a capacity of 2 billion standard cubic feet per day, connects the eastern gas network to the western network and the northern corridor through the AKK Pipeline.
