NNPP fixes May 26 for primaries for all elective positions

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has scheduled May 26 for its primaries for all elective positions ahead of the 2027 general elections. NNPP National Publicity Secretary, Ladipo Johnson, stated that the consensus mode of election will be adopted across all wards in the country. He also confirmed that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) successfully verified the party's administrative structures on April 23. Johnson dismissed claims from expelled members of the party, stating that a Federal High Court judgment had affirmed their expulsion.
