North Wales Police search for mother after body of baby found in Bangor

The body of a newborn baby was found on the shoreline of the Menai Strait near Siliwen Road in Bangor, North Wales, on Sunday shortly before 5:00 PM BST. North Wales Police are appealing for the mother, who may be extremely vulnerable, to come forward. Fiona Giraud from Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board urged the mother to seek help, expressing concern for her health and safety. Police also appealed to the public, including the baby's father, family, friends, or neighbors, for any information about a woman or girl who may have been pregnant or exhibited unusual behavior in recent months.
