Northern governors say Boko Haram is weakened but not defeated

Inuwa Yahaya, governor of Gombe State and chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum, stated that Boko Haram has been weakened but is not fully defeated, with ongoing attacks in communities. He also expressed concern over slow progress on major regional development projects like the Mambilla hydropower, railway connections, and broadband expansion.
