Northern Senators mourn Senator Bello Mandiya

Senators from the 19 Northern states and the Federal Capital Territory mourned the death of Senator Bello Mandiya, who represented Katsina South in the Ninth Senate, at the age of 62. In a condolence statement signed by the Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, they praised his dedication to public service and his role as a legislator. Before his election to the Senate in 2019, he served as Chief of Staff to the former Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari.
