Norway launches probe into 11 senior officials over US Epstein files links

Norwegian Parliament has launched an investigation into 11 current and former high-ranking ministers, including Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, over alleged ties and grants linked to Jeffrey Epstein. The inquiry follows the release of Epstein-related documents by the US Department of Justice in January, revealing connections to politicians, royals, and the ultra-rich. The public hearing began amid reports that over 130 million kroner ($13.5 million) were allocated to the International Peace Institute, led by Terje Rod-Larsen, who was implicated in illicit loans and visa fraud involving Epstein. Støre, who denies any wrongdoing, must clarify these associations before parliament.
