« Not every Christian will become a new community » (Cardinal Bessi)

Archbishop Ignace Bessi Dogbo urged Christian faithful in Ivory Coast to exercise wisdom regarding the proliferation of new communities in Abidjan. He emphasized that not every Christian should establish a new community, but instead return to their parish and serve within the local church. The Cardinal highlighted that charitable initiatives must adhere to church norms and unity, and stressed the importance of pastoral support. He reminded that diverse charisms should support the church's shared mission without leading to dispersion.
