NPFL: Rangers defender Onyebuchi undergoes successful surgery

Rangers defender Ifeanyi Onyebuchi has successfully undergone surgery for an anterior cruciate ligament injury. He sustained the injury during the Flying Antelopes’ preparations for the new season. Onyebuchi has commenced rehabilitation but is expected to be out of action for a long time, which is a major setback for Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side as they aim to defend their NPFL title.
