NPFL: Referees urged to apply laws without fear

The Nigeria Football Referees’ Association (NFRA) urged referees of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) to strictly adhere to the laws of the game for the 2026-27 season. NFRA Acting President Sir Kelechi Mejuobi emphasized the importance of a correct understanding of the laws to advance the domestic league. He also warned unauthorized individuals to stay away from restricted areas, including referees' dressing rooms.
