Nsam Technical High School classes resume Wednesday after tensions

Classes resumed Wednesday morning at Nsam Technical High School after vandalism and tensions had disrupted school activities. The unrest followed the death of student Feudjio Kidio Junior in a traffic accident on October 21. A claim that he and classmates had been sent away for violating the school’s hairstyle rules was rejected by the administration and local authorities. A disciplinary council decision on the eleven students summoned before it is still pending, with no final outcome announced.
