Nude Photos: Ukraine Dismisses Viktoriia Yakimova, Its Honorary Consul in the Dominican Republic

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs revoked the appointment of Viktoriia Yakimova, honorary consul of Ukraine in the Dominican Republic, following the release of nude photos on her social media. Yakimova, originally from Odessa, was appointed on March 21, 2026, but controversy arose with the publication of erotic images and a photo of her wearing a kokoshnik. Additionally, the Ukrainian ambassador to Cuba was recalled, and a full audit of Ukrainian honorary consulates abroad was ordered.
