NWFL: Bayelsa Queens set to sack head coach Ogbonda

Bayelsa Queens are set to part ways with their head coach Whyte Ogbonda after losing the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) title to Edo Queens. The Prosperity Girls finished second in the tournament with eight points from five matches, following a 0-0 draw against Rivers Angels on the final day. Ogbonda, who led the team to their eighth NWFL title two years ago, is expected to be relieved of his duties after a comprehensive review of the team's performance during the 2025/26 campaign. The club is expected to make an announcement this week.
