Nyayo Estate Residents Protest Alleged Grabbing of 7 Acres of Public Land

Residents of Nyayo Estate have protested against the alleged grabbing of 7 acres of public land at Plot 115, accusing private developers of taking over a parcel reserved for community use. The protest, organized by the Nyayo Embakasi Residents Association (NERA), began at Malaika Park before proceeding through parts of Embakasi East, Nairobi. Residents are demanding that the disputed parcel be protected from further development.
