NYC Mayor Mamdani reaches record DoorDash settlement for underpaid workers

New York City has finalized a settlement of over $131 million with DoorDash amid allegations of underpayment of its workers. This settlement, the largest for delivery workers in the United States, will affect 260,000 workers, with $115 million going directly to the employees. DoorDash confirmed that $6.6 million in payments never reached its delivery drivers, and underpaid workers will receive 200% of what they were originally owed.
