England fast bowler Carse to face no charges over alleged nightclub assault

England fast bowler Brydon Carse will face no charges after Derbyshire Police closed the investigation into an alleged assault. The 31-year-old was arrested for being drunk and disorderly after a night out with Durham teammates on August 23 but was 'de-arrested' after agreeing to leave. While no further action will be taken by the police, Carse remains under investigation by the Cricket Regulator to determine if he has a case to answer under their regulations.
