Obi meets Kwankwaso after securing NDC presidential primary clearance

Presidential aspirant in the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, met with former Kano State governor Rabiu Kwankwaso in Abuja after being cleared by the party’s screening committee for the 2027 presidential primary. Kwankwaso referred to Obi as "my brother" and expressed confidence in the party's future. The meeting follows their recent defection to the NDC after leaving the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
