Obi pledges emergency measures on security, education and power

Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, pledged to declare a state of emergency in security, education and electricity if elected in 2027. He criticised President Bola Tinubu and argued that borrowing should fund productive investment. Obi’s running mate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, urged voters to support the NDC ticket in the 2027 elections.
