Oborevwori reshuffles cabinet as 2027 elections approach

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has directed a minor reshuffle of his cabinet as commissioners resigned to pursue their political ambitions ahead of the 2027 general elections. Meanwhile, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is facing internal tensions with the emergence of a new faction in Jigawa following parallel congresses. The Federal High Court has also adjourned indefinitely a suit challenging the leadership of the ADC.
