Oburu Urged to Convene Nyanza Leaders’ Meeting Over Rising Political Violence

Bishop David Kobia of the Anglican Church of Kenya has urged ODM party leader Oburu Odinga to convene an urgent meeting with regional leaders to address the rising political violence. He warned that continued unrest could discourage public participation in democratic processes. At least four people have died and several have been injured in recent violent incidents in cities like Kisumu, Homa Bay, and Migori.
