October 1: ‘Come down and see Nigerians struggling' – Atiku explains why Tinubu must go - Daily Post Nigeria

During Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary, former Vice President and ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar urged President Bola Tinubu to come down from Aso Rock and meet Nigerians struggling with hardships. He criticized Tinubu's policies, including the removal of fuel subsidies, which have increased living costs, and stated that prosperity is still far from the people. Atiku called for Tinubu to step down, asserting that the promised prosperity has not been achieved. Tinubu, seeking re-election in January 2026, claimed Nigeria has crossed the Red Sea and that prosperity is near.
