October 1: No three square meals for Nigerians under Tinubu - Atiku

Atiku Abubakar, ADC presidential candidate, criticized President Bola Tinubu during a press conference in Abuja, stating that average Nigerians cannot provide three meals for their families. He highlighted rising tuition fees, with some institutions increasing costs by over 400%, and argued that consumer credit does not benefit workers whose wages are too low. Atiku also condemned the government's budget management, pointing out the lack of transparency and the extension of the 2025 budget without clear implementation of the 2026 and upcoming 2027 budgets.
